Why Bowl?
Lawn bowling is a fantastic and unique sport that everyone can play. There are a lot of reasons why lawn bowling is fun for the youngest and the oldest in your family.
- It’s Easy to Learn – With some quick instructions you can get the hang of it in a few seconds.
- It’s Social – Bowling clubs are a great place to make new friends and meet up with old friends for some outdoor fun
- It’s for Everyone – Regardless of age, gender, cultural background or ability, bowls is for you. It can be as relaxed or competitive as you want to make it.
- It’s Affordable – Our club has bowls to use free of charge for your first year and at a low cost rental fee after that. Comfortable clothing and flat-soled shoes are all you need. Our membership fee covers several opportunities a week to play from May to October.
- It’s Active and Outdoors – Stay fit and healthy and get outdoors. It’s a game you can play even with mobility or health issues.

Open House
- At Port Credit the game of bowls is about fun and community.
- Each year in late April we hold an Open House to invite those interested in lawn bowls to meet club members and view the facility
